The development of a loudspeaker such as the M 1000 FCR was a task that any engineer would work on with utmost pleasure – whether it be day or night. After all, who could call himself an engineer and not wish to work on a project with the single goal of developing the best-ever THX front channel speaker – using only the very best materials and componentry – when the sky is the limit in terms of costs. Even its predecessor model, the M 990, was renowned for being the only THX speaker in the world to receive a license for the 9000 cubic foot category with its outstanding dynamic performance and extremely low distortion.
